MCW affiliate: the clauses that decide the money
An MCW affiliate account is a publishing business rather than a way to play for free: you are paid for players who stay, on terms agreed before your first visitor arrives. This page walks the order those decisions come in.
Every programme here runs the same chain — a tagged link, a registered player, an active player, a share of what that player brings the operator. Programmes differ in how they define each link, and the four shapes below cover almost all of them.
Revenue share
A cut of the operator’s net result from your players. The clause to read twice is how long that cut keeps arriving after the player signs up.
CPA
One fixed payment per qualifying player. Qualifying is a defined word — a deposit, a stake, a turnover threshold — and the definition lives in the terms.
Hybrid
A smaller fixed payment with a smaller cut behind it. Flatter month to month, and lower when a month goes well.
Carryover
Whether a losing month is wiped or pushed into the next one. This clause moves the yearly total further than the headline percentage ever does.
All five are answerable from the terms and the account manager before you publish anything, and each one has cost somebody a quarter of earnings at some point.

A commission rate is current in two places only: the terms you accepted and the dashboard you log into. A percentage quoted anywhere else is a photograph of a different contract on a different day.
The traffic that converts arrives with a question. A page that shows how a withdrawal actually runs outperforms a page shouting a bonus figure, because the reader of the first one is already most of the way to a decision and the reader of the second is still shopping.

What does carryover do to earnings?
It decides whether a losing month is forgiven or carried forward. Where it carries, one large winning player can absorb several months of your commission.
Can brand search ads be used to promote a platform?
